Danna Taylor Named VP Operations

El Dorado, AR…July 1, 2018: Medical Center of South Arkansas (MCSA) is pleased to
announce the recent appointment/promotion of Danna W. Taylor, MBA to the new
position of Vice President of Operations for MCSA. Taylor brings with her a decade
of experience in the healthcare industry. She most recently served as MCSA Director of
Physician Practice, where she managed the specialty clinics operations, staffing and
strategic initiatives.
“The experience, leadership and commitment to operational excellence Danna brings to this role is important for the strategic growth of our hospital. The Vice President of Operations position was established in recognition of the multifaceted services now provided by MCSA, and for our organization to be responsive to the needs that our planned growth requires," said Scott Street, MCSA Chief Executive Officer.
As VP of Operations, Taylor will continue to direct the specialty clinics and adds six hospital departments with direct report: cardiovascular, radiology, laboratory, inpatient and outpatient therapy, respiratory and pharmacy. Her role also includes physician recruitment and overseeing the current multimillion dollar hospital renovation.
Taylor is a graduate of Westside Christian School in El Dorado and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Ouachita Baptist University and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University. Prior to her arrival at MCSA, Taylor was the Director at Arkansas Department of Health and was previously a Physician Recruiter for UAMS. She is married and has two sons. Taylor is a member of Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church and volunteers in the children’s ministry. She is also a member of the Life Touch Hospice advisory board and has served on the board of Paint the Town Pink.

Taylor says the administrative team is energized and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for MCSA with alliances, recruitment and additional service lines. The administrative team includes CFO Nichole Dykes, CQO Angela Williams, CNO Amy Triplet and CEO Scott Street.
