Recovery does not end after surgery or injury. Rehabilitation and physical therapy services at St. Margaret’s Health support patients during the healing process and help restore strength, mobility, and function.

By collecting stories without forcing them into a single narrative, Anonymous Us changes the conversation around donor conception from one of abstract ethics to lived reality. It replaces certainty with complexity—and in doing so, brings the topic closer to the truth.

Recuperative Care
Often used as a “stepping stone” from acute care to the home or other discharge destination, The Med Center’s Recuperative Care Unit serves a unique role in providing continuing care to our patients. Therapy involves patient and family teaching to assist the patient in regaining as much independence as possible in executing activities of daily living. Representatives from various hospital departments meet each week to plan and discuss patient care and progress. Each patient on the unit has goals, which have been established after assessment and input from the patient, his family and staff members including the physician, nursing staff, dietitian, activities therapist, physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist.
