Your Stay
No one looks forward to a hospital stay, but at Medical Center of South Arkansas, we work hard to make sure your visit is as pleasant as possible. Here’s a few things you should know about your room and our hospital in general that can help make your time with us restful and healing.
Your Bed:
Your nurse will show how to properly work your electrically operated beds. Hospital beds are usually higher and narrower than patients’ beds at home, please use caution when getting out of bed. Safety rails should remain up at all times.
Smoking:
Medical Center of South Arkansas is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking and/or the use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited anywhere on hospital grounds.
Meals:
In-room meal service is provided three times a day. Menus will vary and cater to patient’s medical needs and prescribed diet. A nutritionist will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
