Medical Center of South Arkansas, accredited by Joint Commission, is a general acute-care Level III Trauma Center hospital licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health. Our 166-bed facility's inpatient services include emergency services, obstetrics and newborn care, pediatric care, intensive care, otolaryngology, general surgery, orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, SNF, interventional cardiology, addiction management, and many other specialties. Telemedicine services include pulmonology, neurology and AR Saves stroke telemedicine. Outpatient services include a full service laboratory, speech, physical and occupational therapies, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wound care and radiological services including, MRI, CT, digital mammography and more.
MCSA is an award winning facility with recognition from numerous leaders in health care including; American Heart Association Stroke Gold Quality Achievement Award, Cribs for Kids Nursery Safe Sleep Silver Certified, Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade “B” Facility, Arkansas Governor’s Quality Award Challenge Level, Arkansas Business Best Places to Work 2020, and Arkansas Business Category IV Business of the Year 2021.
