The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened the need for medical care and Medical Center of South Arkansas has safely delivered our full complement of medical services while continuing to support care for COVID patients needing hospitalization. Our team of caregivers is tireless in their dedication and making a difference for hundreds of patients each day. Thanks to our physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, lab techs, housekeepers, food service workers and others on our team, patients received the medical care they needed in 2021 through 98,000 interactions with our hospital and physician clinics.
We're also proud of other ways we provide community support – through our tax dollars, charitable contributions, and as an employer of local residents. We're glad our economic impact has a positive effect and helps improve the quality of life for all of our neighbors.
