Respiratory Care
Medical Center of South Arkansas provides a wide variety of diagnostic, preventive and treatment services for diseases that affect breathing and lung function. Our pulmonary doctors (pulmonologists) work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary group of specialists, including cardiologists, interventional radiologists, surgeons and other health care professionals to provide care for conditions.
The respiratory care department at Medical Center of South Arkansas uses pulmonary function equipment to determine total lung capacity. This equipment aids physicians and therapists in diagnosing and treating a variety of lung disorders.
